The Nigeria Under 23s will clash with Zambia in an All Africa Games qualifier this weekend while the Flying Eagles will begin training for the Fifa Under 20 World Cup as from next week.

At the same time, in Scandinavia a young Nigerian, that is eligible to play for both
countries, is making remarkable progress.

Born in 1996, Babajide David is an offensive player with incredible speed and great technical skills.

The 18-year-old recently put pen to paper on a five-year contract with Danish club FC Midtjylland and expectations are high that he will follow in the footsteps of the likes of Sylvester Igboun and Femi Ajilore.

Unconfirmed reports suggest that if he had a Danish passport, he would have been called up to Denmark's youth team.

The talented offensive player was in Switzerland th
is past week with FC Midtjylland where they participated in the big international U18 tournament (Bellinzona Tournament) with teams like Inter Milan, Tottenham Hotspur and Atletico Madrid.

In a group fixture FC Midtjylland played a 1-1 draw against Inter Milan, with Babajide David on target for the Superliga side.

In the final,
where FC Midtjylland squared off against Atletico Madrid, the Spanish side were expected to win the match but David made life difficult for them from the beginning of the match.

He used his speed and delivered a great assist for his team-mate, who easily scored the first goal.

FC Midtjylland scored two more goals and were crowned Bellinzona
Champions for 2015.

The more the merrier. The future is great for us if we can harness all these talents. I am concerned at the under 17 and 15 who would be possible replacements for these guys as they get old.

@denonso1 what is bad in sl10 reporting about a talent they spotted? If you think you can do better than them, why don't you start reporting news and stop the hate?
