SL10 was privileged to have an extensive interview with Nigeria born youngster, Adeniyi James.
 
The skillful forward who currently plays for KF Laci enjoyed a fine season in Albania.
 
Adeniyi, a utility player is currently on holidays at his home land, Nigeria, SL10.NG got a rare chance to meet the player who is termed the future of the Super Eagles.
 
SL10: Who is Adeniyi James?
 
Adeniyi: Adeniyi James is a Nigerian born footballer and he is plying his trade in Albania with KF Laci. I was born in a family of two boys and four girls. I'm the last born. I was born in Lagos and brought up in Mushin.
 
SL10: Why upon all the professions in the world, you chose football?
 
Adeniyi: I chose football because it was a gift from God and I really love to play the round leather.
 
SL10: At which point in your life did you realize football was the thing for you?
 
Adeniyi: When I was invited to the under 17 national team with Ramon Azeez in 2009. Though I was later dropped after the embarked on a tour of Qatar?
 
SL10: Tell us more on the journey so far in Albania; the good moments and so on?
 
Adeniyi: I went to Albania on the invitation of FK Bylis and I played one and half season with them, before pitching tent with FK Tomori on loan and later I moved to KF Laci. The bad moment was when I first arrived at KF Laci. On my debut, I was sent off. That was the first red card in my career. The good moment was when I scored my first goal in a Europa League qualification match against Ruda Velenje of Slovenia.
 
SL10: We are sure you are aware that the Nigeria U23 team are in camp, are you relishing a call to join the team in the nearest future?
 
Adeniyi: Yes I'm really willing to join the team with immediate effect if the handlers give me the chance to showcase my talents.
 
SL10: What do you think of Samson Samson, the head coach of the U23 team?
 
Adeniyi: He is a good coach, who has achieved a lot for Nigeria in the past. The team is in good hands.
 
SL10: Personally, as a player, what are your targets?
 
Adeniyi: To play football at the highest level and make my country proud.
 
SL10: Tell us more about Laci, how is Adeniyi faring there?
 
Adeniyi: Laci is a team where I was given the chance to play more. I have netted many goals here. The management and the fans are very happy with me, so I'm very happy with the team for now.
 
SL10: Every young player is looking to play for the elite clubs in Europe, which of the teams are your preferred future choice?
 
Adeniyi: I wish to play for Arsenal, Real Madrid and also to play under Jose Moriouho.
 
SL10: As a young player, do you also dream of playing for the Super Eagles in your career?
 
Adeniyi: The dream of every youngster is to don the Super Eagles jersey. If given me the opportunity, I will grab it with both hands.
