On match day one, nine goals were recorded in three matches. Gbenga Ogunbote and Ibrahim Ajani, who were former coach and player of Sunshine Stars FC of Akure, made their visit count when they both paid a visit to Akure with Sharks of Porthacourt. That match produced six goals with both sides sharing the goals evenly.

Kano Pillars had a jolly ride in their new home in Kaduna scoring twice against Nasarawa United and In Porthacourt, Dolphins were only able to convert just one out of the numerous chances they created.

Now on Sunday being match day two, seven matches will be played and we expect to see a harvest of goals. SL10 will use each team performance in their last six matches to make predictions.

Abia Warriors Vs. Lobi Stars

Still celebrating their second win on the road, Abia Warriors form in the last six games played won just twice and lost four times (WLLLLW), part of which is the home loss to Warri Wolves. Lobi stars are fourteen steps above their host, they've won twice, lost twice and also drawn twice in their last six games. The Markudi based club have scored once in their last two road trips and they've conceded five goals.

Prediction: Abia Warriors 2-0 Lobi Stars.

Nembe City Vs. El-Kanemi Warriors.

Nembe City in their last six games picked just a win, they've drawn thrice and lost twice. In their last three home games they've not conceded more than a goal ( a 1-1,0-0 and 1-0). El-Kanemi Warriors in their previous six games have lost twice, drawn twice and won twice. The Desert Warriors in their last three road trips haven't scored a goal though they picked a point against Heartland in a barren draw.

Prediction: Nembe City 2:1 El-Kanemi Warriors.

Giwa FC Vs. Gombe United.

The Desert Scorpions lost at home the previous week to Kano Pillars, they will travel to Jos to play against NPL debutant Giwa FC. It's been a while since Giwa won a game, the last time the Elephants won was four weeks back at home against Lobi Stars, they stretched Sharks to the limit in their last match in Porthacourt but were unlucky to have conceded two goals. In the last six games, Giwa have only won twice, their match against Bayelsa was postponed while in their last three matches on the road they've failed to pick a point. Gombe on the other side have not done well for themselves, they've drawn two, lost three and won two. Gombe United aren't good travelers in recent times, they've scored just once in their last two away games and conceded four goals.

Prediction:Giwa 2-0 Gombe United.

Rangers Int'l Vs. Crown FC.

Rangers have the bragging rights over Crown, the Flying Antelopes made a mess of Crown FC the last time they met at this level wining both home and away. Crown lost at home to Rangers and also lost in Enugu but at this time of the season Crown are 10th on the log while Rangers are 17th on the log.

Crown looked a descent loser on the road in their last two away games, they lost by a lone goal on both occasion but in their last six games, the Ajilete Boys have lost twice, won twice and also drew two matches (both draws at home). In Rangers previous six matches, they've lost four and won two, those wins being at home scoring 5 goals and conceding one.

Prediction: Rangers 2-2 Crown.

FC Taraba Vs. Bayelsa United

Though both sides have not met at this stage before but debutant FC Taraba will fancy their chances against visiting Bayelsa United who since losing at home to Sewe Sport of CIV in the CAF Confederation Cup have not churn out good results.  The Restoration Boys have played just once on the road the last four matches and they lost it, they've also lost once at home in their last three home games.

FC Taraba have won twice at home, lost thrice on the road and drew once in the last six matches they've played. The Jalingo based team in their home victories didn't concede but they seem not to score a lot of goals  (1-0, 2-0).

Prediction: FC Taraba 2-1 Bayelsa United.

Enyimba Vs. Kaduna United.

Since 2011 both teams haven't lost on home ground each time they meet and that might repeat itself today when Kaduna Untied visit the Enyimba stadium.

Prediction: Enyimba 2-0 Kaduna United.

Warri Wolves Vs. Heartland.

This fixture looks easy considering the fact that Heartland regardless of their form have always picked a point in Warri since 2010. In 2010/2011- Warri Wolves 2-2 Heartland, in 2011/2012 Warri Wolves 0-0 Heartland, in 2012/2013 Warri Wolves 0:0 Heartland.

Prediction: Warri Wolves 2-2 Heartland.
