Nigeria's representative at this year's CAF Confederations Cup, Warri Wolves, have promoted two players from their reserves side, while confirming the retention of 23 players ahead of next season.
 
In a press release made available to SL10.ng the two players promoted from the reserve team are Akpoveta Ojevwe and Martins Obodo, while the trio of Solomon Kwambe, Kufre Ubong and Onyekachi Okafor joined the team from other professional sides in Nigeria.
 
The 23 players retained include Okiemute Odah, Daniel Akpeyi, Tega Iriose, Goodluck Onamado, Joseph Eyimofe, Oke Ogagatewho, Monday Osagie and Gbolahan Salami.
 
While,  Bright Akpojuvwewho, Michael Egbeta,Etebo Oghenekaro, Joseph Osadiaye, Omoforman Freedom, Stanly Dimgba Abu Azeez, Ibenegbu Ikechukwu,, Ichull Lordson, among others also retained.
 
While the team officials will resume on the 9th of January, the promoted, signed and retained players are all expected to resume three days later for pre-season training, where 15 invited players picked from various zones of Delta state will be assessed by the coaches, with a view of adding team to their roster for the season.
